Brazing and Soldering

When a manufacturing process calls for two or more pieces of metal to be joined together, brazing or soldering are the natural, lower-temperature production choices. In both cases, the advantage is that the metals to be joined are virtually unaffected. Induction brazing excels in joining different types of metals to one another: aluminum, silver, copper, gold and nickel parts are often joined to each other through brazing techniques. In some cases, soldering of metals—using even lower temperatures than brazing—is the more efficient and effective joining technique.

Inductotherm Group companies manufacture a variety of induction brazing and vacuum-brazing systems that can handle low to high volume production requirements with a wide range of part-handling variations, including single-up, multi-up, side-by-side, conveyor or rotary-indexed functionality.

Induction Brazing and Soldering Systems

Radyne brazing and soldering systems offer permanent and strong metal-to-metal joints with three primary benefits. Flexibility: Brazing is the joining of metals by use of heat and filler metals. As the most versatile method of joining metals, brazed joints are strong, ductile, easy and quick to make, suited to the joining of dissimilar and similarhttps://www.inductothermgroup.com/products/induction-brazing-and-soldering-systems/...

Vacuum Aluminum Brazing Furnaces

Vacuum Aluminum Brazing Furnaces (VAB)

Vacuum Aluminium Brazing (VAB) is utilized to perform fluxless brazing of aluminum components in a high vacuum environment. The process demands tight control of temperature uniformity together with low vacuum leak rates and high repeatability. VAB will provide a component with very clean, high quality, high strength brazed joints. Vacuum De-Oiling Furnace

Vacuum De-oiling Furnaces (VD)

Consarc has developed a range of vacuum thermal de-oiling furnaces to remove oils by volatilization at low pressure and temperature. Unlike aqueous cleaning processes, vacuum de-oiling does not have any requirements for waste water treatment. Also, oil removed from the components can be recycled. For removal of the oil, furnaces are fitted with a speciallyhttps://www.inductothermgroup.com/products/vacuum-de-oiling-furnaces-vd/...

Consarc Vacuum Heat Treatment Furnace

Vacuum Heat Treatment and Brazing Furnaces (VHT)

Vacuum heat treatment is a well-established practice in the aerospace (both OEM and repair), land-based turbine, automotive and tool industries. Controlled thermal processing of components is carried out in a vacuum environment to eliminate the deleterious effects of the charge reacting with the gases present in the air....
