Ahead of the Tube Dusseldorf show in June, Profiltubi in Reggiolo, Italy and its subsidiary Officine Metallurgiche Ventura S.p.A. (OMV) in Lesmo, Italy have purchased 5 Thermatool Solid State HF Welders from Inductotherm Heating & Welding Ltd in the UK. This new equipment will replace existing welder technology with the latest high efficiency technology which ensures maximum productivity.

The Thermatool welders come with the latest Thermaview operator HMI systems, allowing real time data display and integrated interactive information, including Industry 4.0 communication capability for data exchanges with customers SCADA systems. The investment will further drive the company’s high-quality expectations using the latest technologies for high quality production of tube and pipe.
