[August 6, 2010] Allard Europe NV has teamed up with Inductotherm Europe, an Inductotherm Group company based in Droitwich, England.
Allard's latest 20 million Euros expansion plans include a new 4000kW VIP® Power-Trak® power supply with a nominal 16 tonne capacity Heavy Steel Shell furnace.
This increases Allard's existing melt capacity in excess of 40 tonnes. Utilizing the existing Inductotherm® nominal 8 tonne and 2 tonne Steel Shell furnaces, coupled to a range of Inductotherm VIP® Power Units rated at 1000kW, 2500kW and 4000kW and controlled with the latest Melt-Manager® controls.
Allard is one of the most modern steel and iron producers in Europe, producing high level quality castings for the dredging and offshore specialist industries.
The installed equipment includes load cells, melt controls, slag grabs, charge cars, charging, full fume extraction, lining push out; all the tools to make this an operator friendly and very efficient installation.
Inductotherm Europe manufactures induction melting technology and is a dominant supplier of induction melting, holding, pouring and heating equipment to European markets.
