[May 25, 2010]  Bricmont Inc., an Inductotherm Group company, of Canonsburg, PA, received a multi-million dollar contract from the Steel Authority of India Limited to supply a 220 tonnes per hour walking beam furnace for their new Medium Section Mill in Durgapur, India.  In addition to the top and bottom fired furnace, Bricmont's scope of supply includes sophisticated Level 1 and Level 2 Controls, as well as the necessary mechanical equipment for charging and discharging steel sections of various sizes.

This new walking beam furnace will heat the steel sections to world class efficiency and emissions standards.

Bricmont, which designs and installs engineered thermal processing equipment for metal industry applications, is one of forty companies making up the Inductotherm Group.
