Inductotherm's induction furnaces are used by leading dental suppliers for melting precious metals. They provide the high level of alloy flexibility needed for both high gold alloys that contain a small amount of platinum and low gold alloys that are mostly palladium. Silver alloys for fillings also are produced as well as alloys for inlays, crowns and bridges. Other inductively melted precious metal alloys are used in medical applications.
